Nine Inch Nails announced the official soundtrack album for Tron: Ares, set to be released on September 19 via Interscope. The album features a new song titled "As Alive as You Need Me to Be," marking the first official release since the 2021 collaboration with Health. This soundtrack is also the first official album since 2020's 'Ghosts V' and 'Ghosts VI.' The film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, and Hasan Minhaj, premiering in theaters on October 10.
"As Alive as You Need Me to Be" is the first official Nine Inch Nails song since the 2021 Health collaboration "Isn't Everyone." The Tron: Ares soundtrack is also the first official Nine Inch Nails album since 2020's "Ghosts V: Together and Ghosts VI: Locusts."
Tron: Ares is the third Tron movie, directed by Joachim Rønning, following the 1982 original and 2010's "Tron: Legacy." The movie stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Hasan Minhaj, and others.
