Disney pulled back the curtain on a packed slate of upcoming projects across Marvel Studios, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation, and Disney+, giving fans plenty to look forward to in theaters - and on their screens - for years to come.
One of the first surprises of the day came from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans got their first look at "Toy Story 5," coming to theaters June 19, 2026. The new installment pits the classic toy gang against a new generation of tech toys, including the film's villain, Lilypad - an iPad in a frog-themed case. Comedian Conan O'Brien will voice a new character named Smarty Pants, and exclusive footage showed a malfunctioning army of Buzz Lightyears gone rogue, adding extra chaos to the toy box. Andrew Stanton directs the film with co-director Kenna Harris and producer Jessica Choi.
