Guy Fieri will host a free Flavortown Super Bowl tailgate at the Cow Palace in Daly City for more than 10,000 people from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event prioritizes the communal Super Bowl experience rather than watching the game, and past tailgates in Phoenix, Las Vegas and New Orleans have drawn massive crowds, heavy drinking, look-alikes and enthusiastic fans seeking interactions with Fieri. The Cow Palace location may complicate finding a place to watch the game afterward, but nearby bars and the 7 Mile House are within walking distance. Entry, musical performances by Loud Luxury and Tucker Wetmore, and food samples are free.
