The chefs will shape a culinary vision that reinvigorates existing offerings and develops new concepts, with openings beginning in 2027 at the Fifth Avenue location and later at the Trie Cafe at The Met Cloisters. Restaurant Associates will partner on operations. Offerings will range from casual cafes to full-service lunch and dinner venues designed to serve the museum's six million annual visitors. Sodi and Williams bring accolades including Via Carota (2014), a 2019 James Beard Award, and inclusion on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.
