"San Francisco is a croissant-loving city. It's also a line-loving city. People stand for hours to sample whatever hot, new baked delicacy is going viral. At Arsicault, these lines aren't just about hype; the flaky croissants are 100% worth the wait. Perhaps that's why a Warriors superstar stopped by the famed bakery on his way to work recently. In an Instagram story shared two days ago on the official Arsicault account, future Hall of Famer Draymond Green popped into the Mission Rock location."
"His place of work, Chase Center, is just a few blocks away. The defensive powerhouse gamely posed for a picture with a bakery employee in front of the green wall with a yellow neon sign. In his hand was a small white bag, so it doesn't seem like he bought goodies for the whole team. SFGATE reached out to Arsicault but was told through a representative that owner Armando Lacayo did not have any comment at this time."
San Francisco has a strong croissant culture and a tendency for long lines for viral baked goods. Arsicault's flaky croissants attract lengthy waits and sustained demand. Future Hall of Famer Draymond Green stopped by the Mission Rock Arsicault near Chase Center and posed for a photo holding a small white bag, suggesting a personal purchase. Arsicault opened in 2015 and earned Bon Appétit's best new bakery in America distinction in 2016. Owner Armando Lacayo expanded to the Tenderloin and Mission Rock and plans a Palo Alto location later this year. The Mission Rock development was led by the San Francisco Giants and Tishman Speyer Real Estate.
