Lhyfe, based in France, has been granted â¬149 million by the French government for its Green Horizon hydrogen production facility in Le Havre. This plant, part of a significant European initiative, is expected to have a production capacity of 34 tonnes of green hydrogen daily. The support underscores the government's and European Commission's confidence in Lhyfe's innovative capacity and significant role in the decarbonisation of heavy industries. The project is set to surpass 100 MW in installed electrolysis capacity by 2029, a crucial step towards large-scale industrial decarbonisation.
We are proud to receive this grant, which reflects a strong vote of confidence from the French government and the European Commission in an SME that is capable of innovating, meeting complex technological challenges, and rapidly turning its ambitions into reality.
By contributing to the decarbonisation of the Le Havre industrial-port area starting in 2029, the Green Horizon project marks a real turning point - one that is essential if we are to decarbonise our industrial uses on a large scale.
