Paris marks 10 years since deadly terror attacks DW 11/13/2025
""The 10th anniversary is here and emotions and tension are everywhere for us survivors," said Arthur Denouveaux, president of victims' association Life for Paris."
""That kind of shields us from the world in a way, because we're so focused on the grief and on remembering those who lost their lives.""
""The hardest part is Nov. 14 when you have to get back to normal life somehow and the grief is still here, but the bond is a little more distant," Denouveaux told the Associated Press."
France will hold nationwide commemorations on the tenth anniversary of the November 13, 2015 coordinated terror attacks that killed more than 130 people and injured over 400. Survivors experience pervasive emotion and tension and concentrate on grief and remembering those who died. Attackers struck the Bataclan theater, cafés in Paris and outside the Stade de France during a national team match. A memorial garden by Paris City Hall displays steles marking six attack sites and lists victims' names. Presidential and municipal leaders will lay wreaths at multiple sites. Citizens are invited to leave tributes, and a minute's silence will precede a World Cup qualifier at Parc des Princes.
