On March 22, three paintings by Cézanne, Renoir, and Matisse were stolen from the Magnani Rocca Foundation museum in Traversetolo, Italy. The theft was executed by four masked men in under three minutes. They forced entry, grabbed the paintings, and escaped by climbing a fence. The combined value of the stolen artworks exceeds $10 million. The Carabinieri's Art Squad is investigating the incident, which was reported publicly only recently.
