Patrice Evra, the former professional soccer player and Manchester United star, was scheduled to make his mixed martial arts debut on May 23. However, the Professional Fighters League Europe announced a postponement to an as-yet-undetermined date. Evra, who retired from soccer in 2019, has been training in MMA, notably alongside experienced fighter Cedric Doumbé, asserting his readiness for competition. Throughout his soccer career, Evra played nearly 400 matches for Manchester United and secured multiple prestigious titles, including the Champions League.
"I've been training alongside the best in the world for years, and they'll also tell you I'm ready for this," Evra said.
