University of Galway Students' Union presented almost €30,000 to Galway Rape Crisis Centre and GOAL after raising funds through events across the academic year. Most fundraising took place during Raise and Give (RAG) Week in February, featuring a firewalk, head shave, RAG Rose competition, charity auction, 5km fun run, and five-a-side tournament. Additional events included a Christmas raffle, Sex Toy Bingo, Take Me Out, cake sales, and dunk tanks. The Students' Union also sold its iconic “Big Yellow Thing” socks throughout the year to support fundraising.
