Mews raises 255M to accelerate AI and automation in hospitality
"Mews says its platform already supports more than 15,000 properties in 85 countries, and in 2025 it processed nearly 42.3 million check-ins and handled nearly $20 billion in transaction volume. The software also helped generate over $500 million in additional revenue for hoteliers through features like its Mews Spaces module. In a statement, CEO Matt Welle said the new capital will help Mews build an operating system that handles operational complexity so hotel teams can focus on guest experience rather than juggling disparate tools."
"Its technology is designed to replace legacy systems that many hotels still rely on, offering a more flexible, connected way to manage day-to-day operations. The new funding will be used to expand the company's AI and automation capabilities at the core of its product. That includes embedding agent-driven systems that can take on complex routine tasks, reduce manual work for staff and streamline how hotels handle everything from guest interactions to revenue management."
Mews raised €255 million in a Series D round led by EQT Growth with participation from Atomico, HarbourVest and existing backers, valuing the company at about €2.5 billion. The company provides a cloud-native operating system that ties reservations, check-ins, housekeeping, payments and other hotel functions into a single platform to replace legacy systems. The funding will expand AI and automation, including agent-driven systems to handle routine tasks, reduce manual work and streamline guest interactions and revenue management. The platform supports 15,000+ properties across 85 countries, processed about 42.3 million check-ins in 2025, handled nearly $20 billion in transactions and generated over $500 million in additional revenue for hoteliers.
