Rowing doctors bid to set world record for charity
Briefly

A rowing team composed of twelve individuals, including doctors from Frimley Park Hospital, is set to attempt a new world record by rowing 1,000,000 meters non-stop in under 62 hours. This event takes place at London's Paddington Station, with a fundraising goal of £169,000 for the Momentum in Fitness charity. Led by Gihan Ganesh, an anaesthetist whose daughter received life-saving treatment for cancer, the fundraising target represents £1,000 for each day she was treated. The funds will support exercise therapy for young patients at Southampton General Hospital.
