"As Southern California marks the first anniversary of the Eaton and Palisades fires, we continue to track ways people can help those impacted by these disasters. If you are a SoCal wildfire survivor, aid is still available in your area. Here is a list of organizations working to provide help to those impacted by last January's wildfires: Habitat for HumanityHabitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) has a long history of helping families rebuild their lives after a disaster."

Southern California wildfire survivors from the Eaton and Palisades fires can still access local aid. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles operates ReBUILD LA to help families rebuild homes, provide essential supplies, and restore lives after disaster. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank addresses food insecurity by distributing four meals per dollar donated and accepts volunteers and donations to support children, seniors, and families. The SoCal Fire Fund, supported by CAA Foundation, CORE, and the LAUSD Education Foundation, provides flexible funding for immediate needs like food, medical care, and transportation, and offers case management, well-being resources, and transitional education.
