Successful slimmers donate 7.5k worth of clothes to charity shops
Briefly

Members of Slimming World from various local areas donated 244 bags of clothes, shoes, and accessories to support Cancer Research UK, raising £7,500. This initiative, part of the annual Big Slimming World Clothes Throw, celebrates members’ weight loss journeys. Slimming World consultant Reva highlighted the positive impact it has on members' confidence, as they let go of larger clothes for good. The initiative also promotes awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy weight to reduce cancer risks, reiterating Slimming World’s commitment to charity that has raised over £25 million for Cancer Research UK.
Successful slimmers celebrated their weight loss by donating clothes they were now too small for to charity. Members of Slimming World in Eastcote, Hatch End, Northwood, and Pinner raised more than 7,500 for Cancer Research UK.
It makes me so happy to see the confidence in my members as they commit to donating their larger clothes knowing they will never need them again, because they've made healthy changes they can maintain for life.
