Adman Steel Sheds in Gorey, Co. Wexford donated €50,350 to the Irish Men’s Shed Association after raising over €50,000 through Lean Factory Tours. The not-for-profit tour, called “Lean at Adman Factory Tours,” welcomes companies from Ireland, the UK, and Australia to observe Lean manufacturing in a live office-to-production-line environment. Lean manufacturing is presented as a management philosophy focused on maximizing customer value while minimizing waste. Adman Steel Sheds met with Enda Egan and Housing Minister James Browne to present the cheque. Enda Egan said the support helps reach more men and keep Men’s Sheds open and active in communities. Minister Browne praised the initiative and Adman’s community support.

"Adman Steel Sheds recently met with Enda Egan of the Irish Men's Shed Association and Housing Minister James Browne to present the €50,350 cheque to the Men's Shed. “The support from Adman Steel Sheds makes a real difference to what we do. It helps us reach more men and create spaces where people can connect and feel part of something, while also keeping Men's Sheds open and active in the communities that rely on them,” Enda Egan of the Irish Men's Shed Association said."
"The tour, which is not-for-profit, is open to businesses, leadership teams and organisations and provides the opportunity to see how Lean principles are applied in a real office and production environment, with insights that can be taken back and applied within their own operations. Paul Nolan, Managing Director of Adman Steel Sheds, understands the value of community and said the ability to simplify Lean has been one of the key reasons for the tour's success."
"“This is the second year of our partnership with the Irish Men's Shed Association, and it's incredibly satisfying to see first-hand the difference the tours have made to Men's Sheds communities across Ireland,” Paul added. Minister Browne also visited the business to mark the cheque presentation, praised Adman Steel Sheds for their initiative to support the local community."
