Qualcomm Snapdragon processors have demonstrated strong performance in premium laptops through extended battery life and capable on-device AI, but availability has remained limited in mainstream markets. Acer addresses this gap at Computex 2026 with two ARM-based laptops at different price points. The Swift Spin 14 AI is a premium 14-inch convertible using Snapdragon X2 Series processors with an 80 TOPS NPU, qualifying as a Copilot+ PC with full on-device AI support. It includes a 120Hz WUXGA IPS touchscreen with stylus support using Wacom AES 2.0, a 360-degree hinge, a 65Wh battery rated up to 23 hours, and 100W USB4 fast charging. It also offers Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, multiple USB4 and USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and microphone noise cancellation. The Aspire Go 15 is positioned as the first laptop announced with the Snapdragon C processor to expand ARM computing access to mainstream buyers.
