Audeze upgrades its Maxwell gaming headset with magnetic ear pads
Audeze refreshed the Maxwell gaming headset as the Maxwell 2, offering roomier magnetic ear pads and a wider ventilated strap. The Maxwell 2 delivers up to 80 hours of battery life and uses 90mm magnetic drivers with a 10Hz–50Hz frequency range, claiming clear articulation of subtle and powerful game sounds with near-zero distortion. The headset supports Audeze's SLAM technology for enhanced bass and includes a removable boom microphone with AI-powered noise cancellation. Wireless connectivity is available via included USB-C dongle or Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC and LE Audio, and versions are priced $329 (PlayStation) and $349 (Xbox).
