Eufy's MarsWalker is a standalone stairlift-like unit that ferries compatible robot vacuums between floors using four independently controlled robotic arms and a drive-track system. The vacuum docks in the MarsWalker, which transports it up straight, L-shaped, or U-shaped stairs to continue cleaning or return to its base station to wash a mop, empty its bin, or recharge. The device builds a 3D map of the home to determine where the vacuum needs to go and has its own charging base. Compatibility is said to include several Eufy models, but exact specs and pricing have not been released. The MarsWalker is slated to launch in spring 2026.
Who needs legs? Eufy, Anker's smart home brand, believes it has solved the problem of how a single robot vacuum can clean multiple floors in your home. Its new MarsWalker robot is equipped with four arms to carry a vacuum between levels, so you don't have to lug it up the stairs yourself or buy a robot for each floor. However, you've now got two robots, so perhaps it's not really solving that problem.
Equipped with a drive-track system, the MarsWalker acts like a stairlift for your robot vacuum. The vacuum docks in the MarsWalker, which carries it to the next floor using four independently controlled arms. From there, the vacuum exits to resume cleaning or head to its base station to wash its mop, empty its bin, or recharge. Eufy says the MarsWalker can tackle straight, L-shaped, and U-shaped stairs and builds a 3D map of your home to understand where the vacuum needs to go.
