Google held its annual event on August 20 at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST showcasing upcoming hardware and software. The Pixel 10 family comprises four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, building on the Pixel 9 generation rather than overhauling it. The base Pixel 10 features a 6.3-inch Actua display, 12GB RAM, 50MP wide and 48MP ultrawide lenses, plus a new 5x telephoto delivering 10x optical image quality and Super Res Zoom up to 20x, starting at $799 in multiple colors. The event also introduced Pixel Watch 4, Pixel Buds 2a, and software additions including Magic Cue and Pixelsnap.

Admittedly, none of the hardware announcements are super surprising. We've had a pretty good idea that the aforementioned devices were going to be headliners, especially since Google unveiled the Pixel 10 series early in July.
