At Google I/O, the company introduced Gemini Live, a feature that enables users to point their smartphone cameras at objects and ask questions about them. The feature has now gone live on the Gemini app for both Android and iOS. Users can access Gemini Live by opening the app and tapping on specific icons to share their camera or screen. While the feature is enjoyable and engaging, early tests show it occasionally makes mistakes in providing information, reminding users that it is still in development.
The ability to share your camera & screen in Gemini Live is now available to all Gemini users on Android & iOS.
I tried it and it is pretty fun to play with.
It can be fun and useful but when I tried it on a few things, sometimes it just got things wrong - which Gemini can do.
Here is a video of it from Google.
