It's gone viral, but resellers are struggling to sell this Disneyland souvenir
Briefly

Disney has introduced a special interactive item, the Key to Disneyland, celebrating its 70th anniversary. However, mixed reviews have surrounded this merchandise, leading fans to question its value after initial excitement waned. Some collectors are struggling to resell the keys, particularly those without the included pin, which is sought after by pin collectors. Enthusiasts noted low sales at the Disneyana Fan Club Expo, indicating a potential shift in interest once the novelty wears off for adult collectors, contrasting with children's enjoyment of the interactive elements.
It's a lot of pin collectors [at the convention] too, so a lot of them are there, they bought multiple of them, and they just want the pins. And so they're selling the keys, or they're trying to sell the keys.
I don't know if people are reusing the keys once they've gotten their pin. I'm sure they are, especially for kids...but for adults and especially the collector crowd, I don't think they're going to be reusing their keys very often.
