The controller maintains full PS5 functionality including wireless connectivity, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers at a base price of $139, with optional premium upgrades available. Killscreen's approach deliberately embraces what co-founder Erik Consorsha calls "productive wrongness," intentionally combining retro design elements with modern hardware across their product line.
