Within a thread about Steam Deck competitors, a user wondered if the upcoming ROG Xbox Asus Ally would be undercut by new portable PC releases from MSI or Valve. KeplerL2 replied, "Steam Deck 2 is 2028," without further details. Officially, Valve has released no information on the timing or the potential hardware of a Steam Deck follow-up."
