vivo V70 and T5x certified on their way to India
"vivo is working on the V70, the successor to the V60 launched back in August. This series refreshes twice a year, with the V50 having arrived in February, so it's unsurprising to see the V70 already getting certified for sale in India by BIS. As is customary, this certification doesn't reveal any specs for the phone, which will have the model number V2538. It does however confirm that the phone is headed to the all-important Indian market."
"If this pans out, then the V70 will also have an OLED screen with "1.5K" resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, triple rear cameras (50MP main, 50MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, 50MP ultrawide), a 50MP selfie camera, and a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired charging. An IP69 dust and water resistance rating will likely also be present."
The vivo V70 is the successor to the V60 and has been certified for sale in India under model V2538 by BIS. The V70 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 paired with 8GB of RAM and to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6. The device is likely a rebranded S50 and is expected to include an OLED 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, triple 50MP rear cameras including a 3x telephoto, a 50MP selfie camera, a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired charging, and IP69 dust and water resistance. Another BIS-certified model V2545 likely corresponds to the upcoming T5x.
