The public transport companies Verdener Verkehrsgesellschaft, Stadtbus Goslar, and KVG Braunschweig have received a €5.8 million grant to expand their electric bus fleets. Funded by the N-Bank, European Regional Development Fund, and Lower Saxony state funds, the initiative will see the purchase of 12 new electric buses. The plan includes delivery in 2026-2027, with the operators aiming for increased electrification across their fleets, reflecting a commitment to sustainable public transportation solutions in the region.
