Russia's response deemed this move 'dangerous', suggesting it complicates diplomatic efforts for peace. Previous restrictions had been aimed at preventing escalation since the onset of Russia's invasion in 2022, but now, Western nations are providing longer-range military capabilities.
There are no longer any range restrictions on weapons delivered to Ukraine neither by the British nor by the French nor by us nor by the Americans.
If these decisions have indeed been made, they are completely at odds with our aspirations for a political [peace] settlement.
