Each bus carries a 525 kWh battery providing approximately 400–500 kilometers of range under standard regional service, sufficient for longest duty cycles including winter. Services will run within the Passau district and to the city and neighboring counties. Depot upgrades include a transformer station, grid transfer point, and eight charging stations with two points each, plus integrated load and charging management. Approximately €4.5 million in federal funding supported the acquisition.
