Tales also include unusual characters, such as a corrupt horse, to show how narratives and culture intersect with belief and authority. The course emphasizes how song functioned as a tool for power and social meaning. Live sessions run each Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm EST starting May 24. All sessions are recorded, allowing viewing at any convenient time.
