The HellaFunny Olympics is a weekly comedy competition held every Saturday night at 10pm at The Function in San Francisco. Teams of comedians from San Francisco and Oakland engage in a joke-off format where comedians trade jokes until one bombs and is eliminated. Individual performers continue as long as their jokes land successfully. The event features 70+ minutes of comedy with 15+ rising star comedians competing for featured spots in future shows. Semifinals pit favorite comedians from the night against each other, with the final winner receiving a championship belt for their city and an opportunity to gain residency at The Function Comedy Club.
