Los Angeles families can receive free NBA All-Star-branded outdoor hoops during a 75-day countdown to the NBA All-Star Game at Intuit Dome. The Clippers and the NBA are partnering to give away one hoop each day leading up to the Feb. 15 All-Star Game. Residents can submit personal stories at clippers.com/hoops beginning Wednesday for a chance to receive a hoop. Applicants are asked to explain why they want a hoop, what inspires them to play, how basketball has influenced their life, family or neighborhood, and how the game could change their future.
