Dodgers Roster: Roki Sasaki Placed On Injured List, J.P. Feyereisen Recalled
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed rookie pitcher Roki Sasaki on the 15-day injured list due to right shoulder impingement, marking the first injury of his career. In response, the Dodgers recalled J.P. Feyereisen from Triple-A Oklahoma City. This situation reveals the team is currently missing three key starters, including Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell, both recovering from shoulder injuries. Manager Dave Roberts noted Sasaki's decreased fastball velocity and his post-game soreness, emphasizing the need to assess his physical and mental condition moving forward.
"He was a little bit sore afterwards, and that's something we're still trying to figure out what's normal, what's kind of not normal. We want to make sure he's in a good spot physically and mentally," Roberts said.
"He was disappointed that he didn't go deeper, but spirits were fine," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts answered when asked how Sasaki felt after his start against the Diamondbacks last week.
