The Dodgers have acquired minor league right-hander Griff McGarry from the Phillies in exchange for international bonus pool space. McGarry was not on Philadelphia's 40-man roster, eliminating the need for a corresponding move by Los Angeles. Once a promising prospect, McGarry's ranking fell after poor performances in 2023-24. He was selected by the Nationals in the Rule 5 Draft but returned to the Phillies after spring training. McGarry will now join the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate in Oklahoma City.
