Dave Filoni announced that Maul: Shadow Lord will have a second season in development. The series focuses on the character Maul, a year after the Clone Wars. Season 1 consists of 10 episodes, streaming on Disney+ from April 6 to May 6. The plot involves Maul's efforts to rebuild his criminal syndicate on an untouched planet, where he encounters a disillusioned young Jedi Padawan who could become his apprentice in seeking revenge.
