The Epic Noah Lyle vs Tyreek Hill Track Showdown has been Cancelled
Briefly

Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles confirmed the cancellation of his much-anticipated race against Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill, initially planned for this weekend in New York's Times Square. Lyles cited personal reasons and complications as the cause of the cancellation during a panel discussion at the Sport Beach event in Cannes. The race was proposed after a previous friendly rivalry between the two athletes, with a potential rescheduling to 2025 now uncertain. Both Lyles and Hill have showcased their confidence in their respective sports, fueling excitement for the match-up.
"We were very deep into creating the event. In fact, it was supposed to happen this weekend," Lyles said, explaining the cancellation.
"Tyreek could never," Lyles held up a sign after winning his fourth 60m final, showcasing his confidence against Hill.
Hill shared back in February that he's 'got to do this for the guys that play my sport' and showcase NFL athletes' track background.
"Everybody says they're gonna be the world's fastest, but you gotta be the winner every time... I win at the biggest moments," Lyles asserted.
