The LA County Fair, running through May 26, highlights innovative food offerings including chocolate strawberry cups, hot honey corn dogs, and mini turkey legs. Prominent vendors, such as Dominic Palmieri and Charlie Boghosian, aim to transform classic fair foods. Popular dishes include farm-fresh strawberries dipped in dark chocolate, a giant corn dog drizzled with hot honey, and a smaller turkey leg sold at a 2015 price point. The fair also features a Fair Value Menu for budget-conscious patrons, offering snacks at fixed prices. Overall, this yearâs fair focuses on unique culinary experiences.
Palmieri is so excited about these desserts that he's given them their own booths. Two are in the Fun Zone near the Timber Mountain Slide and the Creep Show dark ride.
This item is more of a discount than an outrage. It's slightly smaller than the turkey legs that most people carry around at theme parks, but Palmieri said he's selling at a 2015 price, $14.99.
