International DJ Zane Lowe buys Runyon Canyon home modernized by R.M. Schindler

The whitewashed farmhouse, originally built in 1908, was previously owned by radio and film actor Lionel Stander, who commissioned architect R.M. Schindler to modernize it. The property spans over half an acre and includes approximately 4,300 square feet of living space with an open-plan kitchen, formal living and dining rooms, den, office, and guest house. Amenities include four bedrooms, four bathrooms, swimming pool, spa, fireplace, art studio, and mature landscaping. The home listed for $5 million in November and sold below asking price. Lowe is known for hosting MTV Two and BBC Radio 1 shows and currently anchors Beats 1 Radio on iTunes.
