"Everything's super intentional. I wanted every pocket of the space to be not just inspirational but have a story to tell so that when I'm in that space, I'm always reminded of who I am, and how hard I've worked, and what else there is to do."
"It looks like different parts of an African town where people are gossiping and telling a story to each other. Every time I look at it, I'm kind of drawn to a different conversation or a different pocket of the wallpaper."
"The color itself brightens my day in a way, and it's reflective of money - you know, making sure that I am writing something that could not just be fulfilling to me as a creator but also could make some money."
Writer-actor Cameron J. Ross designed his Los Angeles home office as an "inspo room" to fuel creativity and reflect his artistic identity. The space features intentional design choices with personal significance, including a striking emerald green peel-and-stick wallpaper by artist Uzo Njoku depicting an African town scene. Ross selected this wallpaper for its visual storytelling and because emerald green is his favorite color, symbolizing both inspiration and financial success. The room serves as his creative workspace where he has worked on television projects including The Summer I Turned Pretty and developed scripts for projects like the Lifetime movie Mary J. Blige Presents Be Happy. Ross installed the wallpaper himself, embracing a hands-on approach to creating his personalized sanctuary.
