Big Brother's Zelah shares another moving insight into his transition journey
"It was a slow process where I started to realise like, 'Oh, I don't see myself getting old in this body' and not in a depressing or suicidal way. It just meant I could not picture me getting old as a woman."
"now, I guess I'm at a point in my life for the first time ever, I can see myself with a grey beard, growing old with my partner, possibly being a dad. And that's only come to place in the past year."
"Something that I might look into is getting my eggs taken out so [his partner] Francesca can then carry my egg, and then our baby will have 50 per cent [of] my DNA but she gets to carry it," Zelah told Jenny. "[Francesca] really wants to do it that way."
Zelah Glasson is a 25-year-old trans personal trainer from London who entered the Big Brother house and quickly became a fan favorite. He saw specialists during his transition and described himself as lucky that the process was not traumatic. He experienced a gradual realization that he could not envisage growing old in his previous body and identity. For the first time he can picture growing old with a grey beard, living with his partner, and possibly becoming a father. He has considered fertility options such as egg retrieval so his partner could carry their child.
