Britain's strictest headteacher claims transgender children more likely to be 'white' and 'privileged'
Briefly

In a recent interview, Britain's strictest headteacher expressed her belief that transgender children are more likely to come from 'white, privileged' backgrounds, highlighting her school's lack of transgender students amid a heavy ethnic minority demographic. She suggests that societal admiration of victimhood prompts privileged children to seek identities that confer respect. Her comments come amidst rising statistics revealing a 12% increase in children awaiting gender care services in England and Wales, exacerbated by lengthy wait times. Additionally, she criticized the new Children's Wellbeing and Schools bill, arguing it threatens educational gains.
We haven't had any trans children in the school, but I think it's unlikely as we have a very, heavy, ethnic minority intake from the inner city... I think you'd find that white privileged kids would be more likely to be doing that.
Our society is such that victimhood is admired. And if you feel that you're white and privileged, then you don't have much of a victimhood narrative to embrace.
New figures revealed last week that the number of children awaiting gender care in England and Wales has risen by 12% in a year... Average waiting times have also grown to more than two years.
She called the legislation completely insane and warned that it threatened to undo improvements made in the education system.
