"On October 13, Linehan posted online that the activist was behind countless episodes of harassment of women and gay men both online and off, adding he is a deeply disturbed sociopath and I believe he had some involvement in Friday's homophobic attack. Sophia Brooks, an 18-year-old transgender activist, said she feared vigilante violence after comedian Graham Linehan posted about her on X, calling her a domestic terrorist and sociopath. Linehan linked Brooks to a protest at an LGB Alliance conference on October 11 despite no evidence of her involvement in an incident where insects were released. Prosecutors say Linehan repeatedly posted about Brooks between October 11 and 27, including messages to the Metropolitan Police alleging knowledge of a homophobic attack. Linehan denies charges of harassing Brooks on social media and of criminal damage to her mobile phone valued at 369.
