Ugly Betty star to join Jinkx Monsoon in Cole Escola's Broadway hit Oh, Mary!
Briefly

Oh, Mary! is a dark comedy that explores the life of Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to her husband's assassination. This Tony Award-winning play was created by Cole Escola, who became the first non-binary actor to win a Tony in the Best Actor category. The role was taken over by Titus Burgess, with Jinkx Monsoon set to lead the show as a trans-femme non-binary drag queen. Michael Urie will join the cast as Mary's teacher, with Kumail Nanjiani portraying Abraham Lincoln.
"Unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires abound in this 80-minute one-act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln."
"By the very nature of having a trans-femme non-binary drag queen in its leading role, the upcoming iteration of Oh, Mary! is set to be the queerest show on Broadway."
