"Arbuckle alleges that a mid-year 2022 review rated her as 'exceeds expectations,' but that in January 2023 her rating dropped to 'meets expectations,' a change she says translated into a significant pay cut."
"The complaint states that Wells Fargo formally approved a work-from-home accommodation in June 2022, but during the 13-week wait for that approval, her name appeared on weekly non-compliance reports."
Beth Arbuckle, a senior finance manager at Wells Fargo, is suing the bank for retaliation after requesting a work-from-home accommodation due to her medical conditions. She claims that her performance review was downgraded and her pay cut as a result. Arbuckle's lawsuit, filed in December 2024, follows her diagnosis of lupus and retinitis pigmentosa. A federal judge has allowed the case to proceed to a jury trial set for September 14 in Charlotte, as both parties prepare for pretrial proceedings.
