Victoria Goodwin, wife of "Ghost Adventures" host Aaron Goodwin, has agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit murder after allegedly attempting to hire a hitman. The plea agreement was filed in Clark County District Court, with sentencing potentially leading to 2-10 years imprisonment. She was arrested for messaging an inmate to orchestrate the murder and had offered substantial payment. Following the incident, Aaron Goodwin filed for divorce, highlighting the severity of their marital breakdown amidst the shocking scheme that surfaced from prison communications.
"Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce," police cited Victoria texting the inmate.
Victoria Goodwin, 32, filed the plea agreement with the Clark County District Court on Monday, agreeing to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder.
The alleged murder-for-hire plot was uncovered after Florida corrections officers confiscated the inmate's phone.
Prosecutors originally charged Goodwin with both conspiracy and solicitation to commit murder before dropping the solicitation charge last week.
