The settlement, agreed in the High Court, is intended to fund ongoing care for Mr Avetian following catastrophic injuries. Mr Avetian, aged 46, suffered those injuries when a scrambler bike drove over his skull in Darndale Park, Dublin, on Saturday, June 9, 2018. The award comes seven years after the incident and is designated to meet medical, care and support needs arising from the life-changing trauma.
