Crown prosecutors have withdrawn 14 murder charges against Kenneth Law, who will plead guilty to counselling or aiding suicide. Law, linked to 14 deaths in Ontario, operated online storefronts selling a toxic substance. He has been in custody since May 2023. The case will return to court for his formal plea. If convicted of aiding suicide, Law faces a maximum sentence of 14 years, significantly shorter than the life sentence for murder.
