Luke Jarrett, 26, drove into oncoming traffic while evading police on the day of his first court appearance relating to illicit images of children. Cambridgeshire Police released footage showing him erratically driving along the A47 before flipping his car onto a roadside verge. Jarrett was due at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on September 22 and appeared unwilling to face justice for possessing indecent images of children, which the force suggested may have motivated his reckless driving. At Peterborough Crown Court on November 5 he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and distributing an indecent image and was jailed for three years and four months.
