Andor's second and final season concluded with 12 episodes released in three-episode batches, enhancing its narrative depth. While the finale was bittersweet and somewhat expected in its setup for Rogue One, it still offered surprising moments of tension and character exploration. Key highlights included a deep dive into character relationships, particularly between Luthen and Kleya. This season maintained exceptional drama throughout, despite some critiques about pacing and a few bittersweet elements in the final episodes, leaving fans both satisfied and longing for more stories within the Star Wars universe.
Ethan Gach: The final three episodes, though bittersweet, bring surprising high-stakes tension and rich backstory, wrapping up Andor's journey as it leads into Rogue One.
Carolyn Petit: Episode 10 stands out as an outstanding exploration of Luthen and Kleyaâs bond, introducing one of my favorite new Star Wars creatures.
Zack Zwiezen: Although worried about pacing, the slow-motion montage in the finale added depth while setting up for Rogue One, showing the stakes of their struggle.
The showâs structure, releasing episodes in chunks, brilliantly encapsulates the four years leading to Rogue One, while leaving us wanting more.
