Kilmarnock secure Brandon after Livingston exit
Briefly

Kilmarnock FC has signed Jamie Brandon on a two-year contract after the defender, previously the captain of Livingston, turned down a new offer from the club. The 27-year-old, who can play in several positions, including right-back and central midfield, had a notable three-year stint at Livingston, making 98 appearances. Kilmarnock’s new manager, Stuart Kettlewell, expressed satisfaction over acquiring Brandon, emphasizing his leadership qualities and experience in Scottish football. This signing marks Kilmarnock's first move under Kettlewell's guidance after their promotion to the Premiership and adds depth to their squad.
“There have been a lot of clubs competing for his signature,” he told his club website. “He’s been a standout performer for Livingston and he adds to the leadership qualities that we already have in abundance here.”
Brandon, who can play at right-back, right wing or central midfield, started his career with Heart of Midlothian and had a loan spell with Greenock Morton before joining Livingston.
