QPR activate Cook contract extension
Briefly

QPR captain Steve Cook is set to continue at Loftus Road after the club activated his contract extension for the upcoming season. Since joining from Nottingham Forest in 2023, Cook has made 69 appearances and contributed four goals, proving instrumental in the team’s mid-table finish in the Championship. Despite a tumultuous end to the season with managerial changes, Cook expressed his passion for the club and his desire to support younger players, emphasizing his continued contributions on and off the field.
I love playing for QPR especially at Loftus Road with the atmosphere. It's been a rollercoaster, but I have loved every minute I've been at the club and I'm delighted to be able to stay here.
I think I've still got a lot to offer, on and off the pitch. I've grown as a person at the club, trying to help out around the place with a lot of the younger players.
