No trains running to and from Heathrow Airport
A burst water main caused flooding at Heathrow airport train stations, stopping trains going in and out of Heathrow. Heathrow Express is closed in both directions because of a signalling system fault, and the service normally runs from Paddington to the airport every 15 minutes. The Elizabeth line is suspended between Hayes and Harlington and Heathrow Airport due to a signal failure linked to flooding at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3. The Piccadilly line is closed between Heathrow and Acton Town for planned works. Heathrow Airport has apologized for the inconvenience and passengers are asked to allow extra time and arrange alternative travel.
